David C Bangert, Partner
Dr. David Bangert has a rare blend of managerial experience, academic accomplishment, and theoretical knowledge.  He is a management professor at the University of Hawaii.  David proudly wears the ring of the United States Military Academy at West Point.  His five years in the Corps of Engineers (Airborne and Ranger), nurtured a passion for excellence that served him well over the following 17 years in international business.  Injured during service, David status as a Disabled Veteran enables LinDao to provide services as a Service Dsiabled Veteran Small Business, allowing sole source or set aside contracts.
Upon migration from the USArmy to industry,  David managed the development of the City of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia -- a task that placed him in a position to utilize a range of leadership and facilitation methods to deliver this $900 million project. 

As a leader, David became intrigued by decision-making in business and returned to university.  On the way to a Ph.D. in Decision Science from Harvard University, David earned an MS in Engineering at Harvard and an MBA at the University of Hawaii.   In 1996, David spent a sabbatical at the Center for Creative Leadership.  In addition to Strategy and Leadership, David focuses in network and relationship management.  He is a judge in the State's Award of Excellence, an ASQ Certified Quality Manager, and a registered engineer by the State of Hawaii.  He has also developed and facilitated programs for an array of organizations including University of Hawai'i, East West Center, and the Czechoslovak Management Center.

Both in service to the community and as an independent consultant, David has worked with such diverse organizations as Allison Wimberly Tong and Goo, Queen's Health Systems, Taiwan Provincial Department of Health, US Department of Defense, Hawaii Pacific Health, Aloha United Way, Castle and Cooke, Motorola, Economic Development Corporation of Honolulu, Governor's cabinet of the State of Hawaii, Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, and BHP Hawaii.  In addition to his responsibilities as a professor of management, he has served as the Shidler College of Business Administration's Director, Executive Development and the College’s Advanced Management Program. 

His research interest for nine years was the managerial implementations of innovative technology – its impact on organizational systems and how to facilitate acceptance by the various stakeholders.  With Professor Robert Doktor, he has received grants exceeding $1 million from the Department of Defense.  Doktor and he have published a series of journal articles, been co-editors of a journal special edition and edited a book entitled Human and Organizational Dynamics in e-Health: A Global Perspective.

Douglas Oringer, Partner

Douglas Oringer is a Chemical / Environmental Engineer with more than 25 years of consulting experience serving clients in real estate, government, banking, chemical, power and recycling industries, as well as the FCC and Wireless Telecommunications industry. His professional projects have involved a broad range of environmental issues, including industrial water purification, industrial water and wastewater treatment, hazardous waste cleanup, domestic wastewater treatment, and FCC Wireless Telecommunications issues.

Doug received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and courses towards an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering at WPI, before moving to Honolulu in 1991.

Angela McGuire, Partner 
is a  competent and experienced relationship manager with a strong background in business development, particularly in the energy industry and with such clients as U.S. and Japanese financial institutions, private companies, and fund managers. Angelas perview includes solar, wind, and biofuels. She has evaluated, analyzed, and conducted feasibility studies  for an array of commercial projects,  credit analyses of investment grade and high yield institutions  and capital market transactions forinterest rate products.  

Angela's eduction includes post MBA studies in renewable energy, U.C. Berkeley, Energy Resources Group, an MBA from University of Chicago, and a BA, Japanese Language, from UC, Berkeley.  Her language proficiency includes Japanese and Spanish.
