of the rice. |

Use your favorite rice cooking method (no need
to pre-wash or pre-rinse the rice). Let the rice cool. Form
balls with hands wet with salt water and flatten on top and
bottom. Place on counter/plate. On top of rice place a few
bite-size slices of cooked chicken, or ham, or any other protein

the protein in the middle as a surprise. |

2nd
day rice:
reheat leftover rice thoroughly before serving. Add a small
amount of liquid to your cold rice to reheat. For each cup
of cooked rice, add 2 tablespoons liquid. Cover and heat on
top of the range or in the oven until warm throughout. Or
microwave: cover and cook on HIGH about 1 minute per cup.
Rice freezes well. After cooked rice has cooled in the fridge,
transfer it to freezer bags in quantities needed for future
meals. Remember to label and date! |
